To See or Not to See

Now that you have decided who you want people to see you as, you need to decide. . . do you want to be seen? People who post pictures get 5-10 times more responses than those who choose not to post a picture. Also, many sites will give you longer trial periods if you do post a picture. You will need a picture sooner or later, so think about it.

Suggestions of picture types.
1) Professional: Portrays you on a business like level
2) Glamor: Shows the sophisticated and stylist side of you
3) Boudoir: Your sexy and playful side
4) Outdoors and sports: Get the picture? : )
5) Family: This shows how important family is to you
6) Candid shots: The funny, at ease and great response picture.

You have selected your site, written your profile and chosen your
picture(s). Some sites will only allow one photo, so choose wisely. If you do not already have your photo? s online, you have two choices:

1) You or a friend scans them to a disk
2) Take them to your neighborhood computer copy company

This is now a good time to have several pictures scanned to a disk so you can have them ready to E-mail to friends and family. Also, you can now have pictures to change if you choose multiple sites.

If you are not posting a picture at this time, you at least have it on disk to E-mail it to someone you are ready to share it with. (Make sure you at least get a picture in return! or better yet! get theirs FIRST!!)

Are you willing to meet someone you do not know without seeing them?

What if they have told you all along that they are 35 years old, 5'10", average build and Hawaiian, and when you finally meet them F2F (face to face) they are 49, 5'2", LARGE and white! Doesn't that make the warning bells go off? IT SHOULD!

Exchange pictures and phone calls BEFORE you meet, unless you are willing to go on your OWN BLIND DATE! If you are into the unknown and the thrill of it, then go right ahead . . . HOWEVER . . . the authors DO NOT recommend this.

NOTE: If you post a picture with someone else in it, you will want to get his or her O.K. first.
